Dee Dee. Delivered January 17, 2008. 2 lbs (with battery)
Yes, I’ve already told you about my new baby Milo. But two days before I went into labor and delivery, the UPS man delivered my new Nikon D300 digital SLR! I had barely finished reading through the manual when my life went topsy-turvy so I haven’t had time to “get-to-know” the D300, whom I’ve named Deidre. Dee Dee for short.
But finally, after a week — I found the time to shoot some practice shots with the camera and acquaint myself with my newest baby. The camera, I mean. And I am amazed by the quality and color. The shots below were just resized for web viewing, but the color and exposure is straight out of the camera. Full auto settings – P priority, Auto White balance at ISO 1600 using natural light. I used my favorite prime lens for these shots – the Nikkor 60mm f/2.8 micro. Pretty, eh?
My baby is 5 days old in these shots.
This is the only exception of an image with post production. I did a simple B&W conversion here.
These are beautiful photos! Milo looks exactly like his kuya Axel.
congratulations auey!!!
