I’m still soaking in the WPPI 2011 experience and will blog about that soon but I just wanted to plant a seed in everybody’s head in case you don’t have anything to do tomorrow night.
If you haven’t yet been to Nightlife at the California Academy of Arts, here’s the perfect excuse to go! Entitled “Nightlife’s Darkroom” it’s all about the Art & Science of Photography with music by Aaron Pope, a talk and screening about conservation photography and 12 images. A 21+ event, Nightlife is pretty awesome, incorporating science with nightlife – a great place for those part-nerds-part-barhoppers. Much more hip than meeting people in a crowded drunken bar. Stare at the stars, dig the dinosaurs and revel at the rainforest, all with a wine glass in hand.
Plus plus plus the award ceremony for the Lovelife photo competition, which I won in the Nightlife category! I’d love to see you all there.
Tickets are $12 for non-members and $10 for Academy members. For more info, click here http://www.calacademy.org/events/nightlife/
