I don’t speak Spanish. No habla espanol. Well, maybe un poquito. My college professor Señora Miciano would probably have a heart attack to hear me utter these words, as I took over 15 units of Spanish in college and still struggle to put together a sentence. Lo siento, Señora!
The good news is that I knew enough Spanish to get by at the wedding I photographed last Saturday at the University Club in Palo Alto. The happy couple was comprised of Adriana and Marco, two beautiful people very passionately in love. The wedding was very special – filled with hand-made details and heartfelt touches. But at the core of this wedding was love.
I am still working on this wedding but I was too excited. So I decided to post my first few favorites here…Congratulations, Adriana and Marco!
Besos y abrazos,
Auey
A super fun jumping shot by Kinsley Wong.
Their first dance had me all giddy inside. They swayed to the music, and belted out the lyrics, oblivious to everyone around them. Just say the words to yourself, even without knowing the meaning – they start to sing to your heart.
Estar contigo es como un sueño
Del que no quiero despertar
Cierro los ojos y no estas
Vivir contigo es mi deseo
Es todo lo que quiero hacer
Porque a tu lado puedo ser
Solo yo mismo (solo yo misma)
Solo yo mismo (solo yo mismo)
When Marco and I got engaged, one of the first things we agreeded upon our wedding was that we wanted our pictures to capture emotions, we wanted to be able to get back to our wedding day with the glimpse of a shot…. We weren’t sure if we would be able to have such a treasure.. Until we met Auey!
Thank you, for the gift of catching our hearts on picture for us to never forget who we were on that special day…
Adri and Marco Bautista
