The second installment in the PPGBA’s 4 Night series featured Anna Kupenburg. A truely talented artist.

Instead of focusing on the usual workshop/talk, she turned the tables and made us work. With a camera in hand, we set off to shoot anything and everything in the Potrero neighborhood where the talk was hosted. The handful of images were then categorized and Anna gave her comments and insight on the photos taken. What was revealed to us as individuals was certainly surprising. The exercise was to point out the natural inclinations on our personal perspectives. So what seemed like a random assignment actually made a huge point in self-examination of our art and work.
